Flowers of Adversity

16-year-old Claireece, "Precious", Jones is pregnant at the hands of her own father. being unable to read or write, and suffering constant abuse from the hands of her mother, Precious finds a chance to turn her life around. She is offered the opportunity to transfer to an alternative school, and under the patience of her new teacher, she learns how to travel away from her oppressive roads, and ride to self-determination.
